About

Built by a controls tech who got tired of bad documentation.

Anutech Systems is a Fresno-based industrial automation integrator owned and run by Tyler Wray. Founded in 2013. Deliberately small. Disciplined about the work.

Tyler Wray

Founder · Lead Controls Engineer

I'd spent ten years on the road as a senior controls tech for a national integrator when I opened the doors on Anutech in 2013. The job I kept getting handed was the same: someone else's PLC program, no documentation, a 3 a.m. flight to a plant I'd never been to. The work I wanted to do was the opposite — local clients, fewer of them, every system documented well enough that the next tech doesn't have to call me.

We're seven people now. Two panel builders in the shop on Poplar Avenue, four field engineers running calls in the Central Valley, and an office that keeps us honest about when the next quote is due. We work for almond processors, citrus packers, beverage co-packers, a couple of water districts, and a growing slice of light manufacturing.

We're not trying to be the biggest integrator in California. We're trying to be the one you call back.

What we believe

  • Documentation is part of the deliverable, not an upsell.
  • The senior engineer who designs it should commission it.
  • Local relationships beat national reach for plants that actually run.
  • Honest scoping wins more work than aggressive pricing.
  • A small shop, well-run, beats a big shop with junior staff on every call.
  • If we don't know the platform, we don't take the job.
