This Privacy Policy explains how Anutech Systems ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit https://anutechsystems.com or engage us for industrial automation services. We are a California-based business and we take the privacy of plant owners, operators and site visitors seriously.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business:
- Contact information you submit through the contact form or by email — name, company, phone, email, plant location and the message you send.
- Project information you share during engagements — site drawings, IO lists, PLC programs and operational details. This is treated as confidential client information.
- Technical information automatically collected by our hosting infrastructure — IP address, browser, device type and pages viewed — for security and basic analytics.
- Cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide quotes.
- To deliver, support and improve the services you've hired us for.
- To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
- To protect the security and integrity of our site and systems.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share client project information with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit written authorization.
Legal bases (for visitors in jurisdictions that require one)
- Performance of a contract (delivering services you've hired us for).
- Legitimate interests (responding to your inquiry, operating our website securely).
- Consent (for non-essential cookies — see our Cookie Policy).
- Legal obligation (tax, accounting, regulatory).
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are retained for up to 36 months unless you request earlier deletion. Client project records are retained for the duration of the engagement and a further seven (7) years for warranty, audit and regulatory purposes.
How we protect information
We use industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards. Client project files are stored on access-controlled file shares and backed up to encrypted storage. Email is transmitted over TLS. Access to client data is restricted to the engineers working on the engagement.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the EU/UK GDPR, or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, delete, port and restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email wil@anutechsystems.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites (e.g. Google Maps for the office location). Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for at least 30 days.
